Breast taping?

A while back there was a discussion re. breast taping here in LJ-land. I tried it without success. I couldn't get it to stay up.

Well, now I need it to work. I need to flatten my chest significantly without sending the girls to my waist - it's radically uncomfortable.

Any suggestions? It will not show so modern methods are welcome, but the sport's bra has been tried and it doesn't flatten so much as just make a uni-boob.

Depending on required shape, there has been some luck with wearing corded or other softish stays, and just not "fluffing.

I've done it with some success with two lengths of ace bandages. just wrapped around and safety pinned. It's uncomfortable as all hell, though...

Yeah, I thought of that and I'll give it a try. I have to find teh old-fashioned kind since the only ones I have in house are those sticky ones that "secure themselves" - I hate those but they were all I could find when I needed one. :-(

I second the ace bandage idea. I've never done it, but a girl in my boyfriend's reenactment group does it when she dresses up like a sailor. She has about medium-sized breasts, so I'm not sure how well it would work if you have larger ones.

LOL! Sorry, I'mnot giving them away. I'm rather attached to them actually; I just need them to squish out of the way for one outfit for one night. Or I need to get over the fact that I'm a girl and make the thing fit me in my current shape...
