Reading, just not typing...

I'm trying to catch up on what all y'all did for the last 6 days, but the volume of posts is staggering so forgive me if I don't comment. :-(

We made it back safely from Sacramento where it topped off at 118 degrees! Watermellon never tasted so good. :-) And block party fireworks are great fun, even if it's a little nerve-wracking to give sparklers to 4-6 year olds...

I picked up my machine from the shop and it runs smooth as silk. sooooo nice. We ended the weekend when I thought it might be great fun to lose the fob to my car. The car is still sitting next to the park with my wallet, house keys, and life in it. I got a new fob today so I can go retrieve my stuff and drive legally again. ugh.

Now I'm back at work, about to head home, and hopefully get some sewing done. Tomorrow I'll be back at work where strange things are afoot at the Circle K.

No way! I'm bummed! I assumed the job you got was in Frisco. :-( I was going to post about heading out of town but I don't feel quite safe about putting that info on the net - consider me a little paranoid about the lack of privacy on a public forum. LOL!

But now that I know you're there I'll hit you up for a-meetin'. We'll be back up there for Thanksgiving or Christmas for sure. Don't count on me coming back until the weather cools down! *whew*
