WTF?

So, I didn't sew last night because I promised to make a pie for the office. I peeled and sliced my apples, I rolled my pie crusts, I coated my walnuts with butter & brown sugar; the house smelled so goo while it was baking.

At 11pm went to take it out of the oven, caught the edge of the pan on the rack, and dumped the whole thing onto the bottom of the oven, where it stayed burning until it was cool enough to scrape off.

So, let's take a look at the score. 1 evening of no sewing = no pie.

At least you didn't burn yourself badly when you dropped it. I know more than one people to who this as occured in a very drastic way!

Oh, Sweetie! You're sure in need of extra hugs. I've done that, myself. But more amusing (in hindsight) is the time I used 3 tablespoons of baking powder in a cake. "Double, double toil and trouble; Fire burn, and cauldron bubble."

Oh no! That's pie abuse! And that sounded close to my favorite pie: dutch apple. More's the pity.
