lovetriangleI had to run an office errand and my radio was on in the car. I just heard about the shootings at Virginia Tech and am sadder than words can say.

Date: 2007-04-16 06:37 pm (UTC)I have so many friends in Virginia, I hope that they're all Okay. Now I'm worried. I can't watch the news at this time, I'm stuck at work.
My deepest sympathies to the families of the victims. How can such things happen so darn often, it's unthinkable :(

Date: 2007-04-16 09:32 pm (UTC)The thing that really hit home for me was the kids in the dorm saying that their RA came around knocking on doors and telling them to stay in their rooms. In 2 places I have worked, I was the person who would have had to make sure people stayed in their rooms, thus possibly subjecting myself to gun fire. How scary.
