Against colleency's better judgment and at considerable risk to my sanity, I had to take the strapwork off the kirtle and add the new trim. I am weak and just couldn't take knowing it was there, even if no one would see it but me. LOL!

I like it better now. I think the strapwork was a nice concept, but just not for this dress. The silver trim looks so much prettier and more historically accurate. ;)

Yeah, I was so excited about how it came out that I made the DH put down his guitar and come look at it. LOL
