Domestic bliss!
Nov. 13th, 2006 02:14 pmAhhhh, the joys of parenthood! Daddy & Claire made me a cake the other day. Claire's first baking experience was not the best tasting effort, nor was it very pretty. In fact, it was the ugliest, driest cake I've ever seen. Regardless, it was the best tasting treat I've ever had in my life. :-)

Claire has also started doing my hair for me. Witness every hair clip she owns adorning my locks. :-)

And as a special gift for my girl turning four this week, we have been shopping for a big-girl bed for my pretty, pretty princess. Don't you want one, too? :-)

There is nothing in this world so wonderful as my daughter and hubby. :-)

Date: 2006-11-15 03:29 am (UTC)The cake was in honor of absolutely nothing. Daddy was laid off the day I got my job offer and if he can keep his guitar student base up we will be fine with him not gong back to work. That means daddy gets to spend mucho time with Claire and the baking was just something fun to try. I was so jealous when they called me and told me what they were doing! LOL!
So if you know anyone in the LA area who wants to learn guitar from a working pro, send 'em our way! :-)
