Why is it that when I have 4 fun things I'd like to do in August 2 of them are on the same dates as the other 2. Costume College is the same weekend as a Traviata I'm costuming. I'm not enrolled but I'm hoping we don't end up with a dress rehearsal the same night at the LJ gathering. And Colleency's LUX After Dark is the same weekend I'll be gigging in Minnesota; and I had the BEST idea for a costume for that one...

LOL. I wouldn't have traded going to England for 10 weeks for ANYTHING, but it seemed as soon as I was out of the country everyone started having cool parties, fun events, things I would have loved to have been a part of, etc.

And I was 7,000 miles away. In England, but still. ;)

It's a good thing (sort of) that I didn't get my sh*t together enough to buy into CC before it was sold out. Seeing as how I wouldn't have noticed it was the same weekend as Traviata until, oh, 2 weeks ago, because I am THAT organized...

I'm in a cover band and we're doing a big corporate gig in Brainerd for a bunch of drunken printers on August 25th. :-) It's a hoot! I'm not sure if we're staying an extra day to look around Minneapolis or not, but if we can swing it I'd love to meet. :-)
