Gala outfit

Still pluggin' away. Got the bottom half well underway last night and it's too tight because I'm stress eating cookies and ice cream all the time now. I've got a little room to let it out; I just hope it doesn't leave needle holes in the taffeta. If I am not done with all the machine work by the end of the weekend I shall have to rethink what to wear to the gala.

Oh yeah, Wednesday night is now a band rehearsal. Which is cool. Love the band. Need to sew. Love the band. Need to sew. Can I sew while singing? hmmmmmmmmmmmmmm

Stress eating ack! I usually stop exercising when I'm approaching a deadline and that's just as bad. For some reason early morning is my most productive sewing time but it's also the same time that we walk. I'm going to be pulling my hair out next month to get that Victorian done.

Yeah, I'm a night person so morning is a wash. I can barely drag my a$$ out of bed to get to work. I try and sew in the evening and then do handwork in bed for the hour or so we watch a little tv after my daughter goes to bed. That's usually from 11pm-12am, and then I start the whole thing over again. I sew less than I could because I don't want to neglect my family so progress is slow going.

I was pretty disheartened by the tragic betrayal by my thighs, though...
