lovetriangle1: I've started a new page on an early 16c German dress in pink, thanks to the inspiration of Michaela, Laela, Myra, et al...
2: Next time I want to use a bias strip to guard a bodice instead of pieces cut to fit the contours, somebody out there please shoot me!
3: *shaking my fist at the sky*
4: Finally done!
5: The transformation of the surcote went well considering I was flying by the seat of my pants most of the time.
6: It is being held at an "indoor playground" - picture a slightly more sophisticated version of a McDonald's Playland area.
7: I have done nothing so far this weekend and I epect to accomplish nothing over my next 2 free days.
8: So, on Wednesday, I drive out here to Redlands and get caught in TWO Cig-Alerts (really-bad-shut-down-the-freeway-kind-of-traffic, if you're not from SoCal) and I don't get to the costume rental house before they close, so we go into the tech rehearsal with the same un-fixed problems we had on Monday.

10: Looks like my new favorite seller has more vintage saris with symmetrical designs.
11: Halloween takes on a specialness when you're spending it with a little girl in a princess costume.

All I can say is I'm appalled at how unproductive I've been this year, but then again, this has been a *ahem* rather difficult year.
