And the HITS just keep on comin'!
Aug. 30th, 2006 12:20 pmSo, last month I blew up Don's car, right? So we've been trying to get around town in my Miata, which is a two person car for a three person family. It's been fun.
This morning, the city towed my car away after putting up temporary no-park signs AFTER we parked there.
I think I am close to a nervous breakdown. I'm serious, I can't take much more of this shit. I'm already giggling uncontrollably and I may start wandering the city aimlessly. On foot, of course since WE HAVE NO CAR!!!
F*ckety f*ck f*ck and f*ck it all to hell!

Then call your city councilman (go here if you don't know who it is: http://www.lacity.org/council.htm) and make them help you, or at least listen to you scream at them for awhile. Give them all the details, and make it an issue. I am a firm believer in forcing those whose salary I pay do my dirty work for me.
If all else fails, have a good, long, loud cry. Seriously. I'm also an advocate of smashing things, with several caveats: Only things you hate and wanted to get rid of anyway, and only by hurling them onto the driveway. Or maybe that's just me...
You poor thing. I think you've had quite enough August for now...
