Gakked from just about everyone else... For completed and current projects easily accessed, click here.

1) What costume (that I could realistically pull off) would you like to see me do?

2) What costume (with no constraints on time, skill, or money) would like to see me do?

3) Which costume that I've completed do you like best?

4) What genre or time period costume do you think I should do more of (or try)?

I have enjoyed reading all the comments on everyone else's meme... If I haven't commented myself it's because I have agreed with someone else's post. :-)

1. Something that is super imaginative (and not necessarily historical): a fairy, Ursula from The Little Mermaid, the Caterpillar from Alice in Wonderland, etc.
2. A luscious 18th c. piece--silk, embroidery, wig, paniers, etc. I think your frame could carry that era well.
3. The only one I've seen in person--the Venetian. :)
4. 19th century (especially bustles)

1. Hmmmmm, I like the idea of a fantasy piece, just because it's something I NEVER do. I have to make a little mermaid for my daughter for halloween and that should be interesting because I hate the way I usually see it done for commercial costumes. Last time I was downtown I saw several stretch sequined fabrics in sea colors but teh stretch ran teh wrong way for what I have in mind. I'll have to see what else I can put my mind to...
2. LOL, after all the CC saq-baqs I am sorely tempted and may have to do it. I also drool excessively over Bjarne Drews clothing and want to try something more elaborate like that but I am determined to finish the Anna Meyer first.
3. Thank you, it is currently my favorite, too. I like your new one very much!
4. Another item on the table! I'm working on a natural form dress from a period pattern of 1779. I just finished the corset but I'm not entirely happy with the dress fabric I have. *sigh*
