If marinade were meant to be sprayed on meat, it would come in little bottles with a spray top.
Conversely, if perfume were meant to be soaked in for 3 days & nights, it would come in large bottles with a wide opening. Please take note of the difference.
Note to building managers in charge of janitorial & maintenance contracts:
Hand soap scented so strongly that people ask if I've had pina coladas for lunch is a bad idea. It does not make the bathroom smell better; it clashes with people's (hopefully modestly-applied) perfume, and just plain stinks!
Note to the makers of hand lotion:
I should not be able to smell a tropical island's worth of sickeningly sweet fruit from across the room every time my coworker lubes up.
I do not have a strong sense of smell. I am not allergic to perfumes, hairspray, etc. So, if something bothers me you KNOW it's gotta be stinky.
