Found a pic of the fabric for Queenie
Aug. 29th, 2007 09:26 amAnd it's really soft, too. :-)

I would have had a pick of the underskirt/forepart to show y'all this morning if I hadn't spent all night unsuccessfully trying to get my machines working again. gggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr. My main machine is not winding bobbins again and I tried to change thread colors on my serger and failed to get it threaded correctly again. I need to try again today in real lighting - my living room is a bit on the dim side and I must have missed a critical loop somewhere. Over and over.
ggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrrr
So far, I have the skirt & lining cut, the bodice successfully toiled, and the underskirt cut.
The only supplies I have left to get are some red velveteen to edge the underskirt, and maybe some brass filigree pieces to attach the gems to so they look more "set." Anyone seen something appropriate for CHEAP? They mus be 1.5" wide or less, preferably square in general silhouette, and no more than 30 cents each. I've found plenty in the more-than-a-dollar-each range, but I need 100 of them. Anyone?
