Why would anyone ever go into the office?
I have had to work from home all afternoon and even though I have to wait a bit for my connection to the server I am sitting in a very comfy chair in my pajamas with Sense & Sensibilty on in the background. THIS is the way work SHOULD be!
In stay news, I got all the brass rings whipstitched to worked lacing holes on one half, front & back. 27 more to go on the other half, and then the sheer joy of buttonholing all 54 of them!
I sure hope this thing fits! I'm a little worried about the linen canvas stretching... :-(

My only problem is that I rather tied to my kitchen table at present as thats the closest to the telephone socket. If I leave my laptop for more then 10 minutes then it drops the connection which is very annoying!
However, within the next fortnight (earlier if I am lucky!!) I will be on my super duper new XP's work laptop WITH WIRELESS ACCESS to the work network!!! Zipppeeee!!!!!!
That means I can then work ANYWHERE in the house I like!! The darling fluffy feather duster of a parrot will be happy then as I can spend a good hour or so with him in the morning when I am working!!
Good luck on the buttonholing! Unless you are like me and like the jump ring to be completely hidden by the buttonholing then you could just do the button holes like a "star" shape with spaces between each stitch (does that make sense?). I couldn't do that myself - I wanted the jump rings completely hidden!!

I got the front ones on the other side whipstitched in last night; just the back to go then the buttonholing can start. I gotta stop sitting on the floor to do this, though. My back is KILLING me!
