Lots of people wear costumes or quasi-costumes to classes, provided they can sit comfortably for an hour or more and won't invade anyone elses' space (there is a no-hoopskirt policy for classes). It's really up to you and what you feel comfortable wearing. I'm totally into the vintage stuff for the classes, myself.

I took 4 complete costumes to CC this year, and wore one of them twice. You're local-ish so you could theoretically get away with more, but I don't think anyone gets more than one costume a day out of CC, anyway (except for the gala night. And if you decide to wear something different for the tea). Next year I'm going to plan for more comfy costumes as back-ups in case one of my less-comfy (and more spectacular) costumes become problematic (ie. the Bermondsey gown, which turned out to be a hair too small to wear comfortably).
